What I’ve learned in the past two weeks is how I can apply my hobby into other things. There’s these things called Zines and it’s basically like a little magazine. I’ve always been into this artist named Penelope Gazin who creates her own Zines and sells them (and I’ve bought one too!). I think that I want to go on and create Zines somehow so I can put a little cash towards painting my mural. The setbacks I have are still huge as I still haven’t heard from any of the businesses I emailed previously and I asked a total of 15 friends if they could help me host a garage sale or some sort to raise money for painting a mural, and none of them are available to help me. I think that to overcome these problems I need to figure out a different way to raise money than before. I also need to contact more businesses. However, I'm almost completely finished with my final draft. I'm just adding the finishing touches.

    This project is great because it really reflects your personal experiences as a person. I like that you are reaching out to businesses on your own in order to accomplish your goals. One thing that I have noticed is that at certain street fairs they host art competitions and allow anyone to come draw, maybe you could contribute there?
